In the ”Chicago`s corrupt city council” editorial Oct. 14, the question is asked, ”What did the people of Chicago ever do to get the most corrupt, unresponsive and arrogant governing body in the nation?”
Charles Sumner answered that question when he stated: ”Man alone of the animal creation preys upon his own species.”
My question is: How long can the city endure? Definitely not indefinitely.
