Services for Louis Onixt, 80, of Skokie, will be held at noon Tuesday in the chapel at 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. He died Sunday in Rush North Shore Medical Center, Skokie. Mr. Onixt retired after 37 years of service as an officer with the Chicago Police Department, working mostly in the Maxwell and Fillmore Districts. Survivors include his wife, Helen; two daughters, Miriam Mankoff and Dianne; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
