Square D Co. said it is boosting its quarterly dividend to 48 cents a share from 46 cents, payable Jan. 2 to shareholders of record Dec. 14. The Palatine-based firm said that although it has not increased its dividend for six years, in order to finance growth, it feels it now is well positioned for the increase.
