Certainly such a grim slant could be taken with any major city, including Chicago.
No, Mr. Greene, live forever in fear and you will never indulge in the cultural enrichment that a lively city can offer. Instead, you will dwell, as you seem to prefer, in the sterility of hotel rooms.
