Motorola Inc. will participate in the industrial supercomputing program at the University of Illinois` National Center for Supercomputing Applications in Champaign. Researchers from Schaumburg-based Motorola will receive training in advanced computing technologies and conduct research projects as part of a 3-year, $3 million agreement. Motorola is the fourth major firm to join the program.
