The White House Dinner in honor of the Gorbachevs and better relationship sounded splendid-the guests, the entertainment, the menu. As I read the guest list, I marveled at its diversity.
However, a glaring omission was evident to me. No long-time peace activists had been invited to this celebration of peace. There certainly are many who could rub elbows with this glittering assemblage. I wonder if President Reagan realizes that peace activists are patriots, too.
