Diamond-Star Motors Corp. said it has hired Wackenhut Corp. to provide total security services for its new auto assembly plant near Downstate Normal. The value of the contract wasn`t announced, but Wackenhut said it will hire 34 to 40 people to work at the plant beginning at the end of February.
