Services for Sid J. Stiegel, 71, a former district manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. He died Sunday in Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center. Mr. Stiegel, a longtime Skokie resident, worked for Metropolitan Life for 35 years and formerly was president of the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters. Survivors include his wife, Ida; two sons, Michael and Robert;
two grandchildren; and a sister.
