Dan Rather`s discourteous attack on Vice President George Bush on the Jan. 25 ”CBS Evening News” and his abrupt ending of the interview was appalling. Even though Bush was advised by Rather`s people that the subject would be a political profile, the interview was a third degree. It would seem appropriate and about time to put Dan Rather to public scrutiny via television in a like manner.
