Agriculture Secretary Richard Lyng denied Malaysian allegations that the United States is dumping vegetable oil, or selling it below cost, in India.
”In every case, we had commitments . . . that our sales would not be displacing the normal sources,” he said in Kuala Lumpur. ”We have also priced our oil at a level above that of palm oil. The word dumping should not really come into play.”
