McCaskey strikes again! Even though the Bears won`t have to pay Walter Payton anymore, McCaskey cites operating costs for a 25 percent increase in ticket prices.

That is the price a fan has to pay for a team`s success and the privilege of stumbling over six inches of ice to his school-bus-size seat and being on the ice for up to four hours. A family of four, starting out at McCormick Inn, can look forward to a $200 Sunday afternoon of fun and frolic.

I shudder to think of all the corporate leaders out there whom Mr. McCaskey instructed at Harvard who think that the utility, government-type of management style is how to operate a business.
