Three cheers for The Chicago Tribune in taking a firm stand against those truly ”boneheaded” aldermen of that truly ”windy” city!
As a lifelong Cub fan, I can`t deny that day baseball has been a great tradition, but I don`t think 18 night games will hurt anyone. If the citizens of that ”windy” city called Chicago can`t accept that, then we suburbanites will welcome the North Side franchise with open arms.
Maybe the city`s famous nickname, ”The Windy City,” because of its
”windy” style of politics, should be changed to ”The Boneheaded City,”
because of the ”boneheaded” people who run it.
