Galaxy Carpet Mills Inc. told shareholders at its annual meeting that a flash flood last month hurt production at its Georgia dyeing facility for several weeks, but insurance was expected to cover damage and lost production time. The carpet maker, based in Elk Grove Village, said it is ”optimistic” about its outlook in fiscal 1988.
