Let the Mujahedeen keep the heat on the invaders. When they have had a bellyful of stingers, they will know how to get out of Afghanistan, and quickly. If Shultz listens to Gorbachev`s sweet talk of timetables, coalitions and our cutting off aid to the Mujahedeen, the U.S. could wind up helping the Soviets conquer a country they could not defeat in eight years of battle.
