A memorial service for Paul A. Hummert, 70, a retired professor at Loyola University, will be held at the school at a later date. Mr. Hummert, a resident of Rogers Park, died Wednesday in Edgewater Hospital. A native of Breese, Ill., he received a doctorate from Northwestern University and taught English at Loyola from 1946 to 1972, specializing in drama. He was author of the book, ”George Bernard Shaw`s Marxian Romance.” There are no immediate survivors.
