Sears, Roebuck & Co., which began its $19-a-share cash tender offer for shares of Western Auto Supply Co., said it is considering selling the Midland International Division of Western Auto, which sells two-way radios and other electronics products. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Chicago-based Sears said it is considering selling any unit of Western Auto not involved in ”automotive aftermarket products, tires or home and leisure products.”
