Sears, Roebuck and Co. named Everett L. Buckhardt executive vice president of catalogue and direct marketing operations at the country`s largest retailer. At the same time, Chicago-based Sears named Marvin M. Stern, a former top executive at Montgomery Ward & Co., vice president of home appliances and home entertainment for the Merchandise Group. Both appointments are effective April 1.
