Working on: My autobiography, ”The Secret of Inner Strength” (Little, Brown), and a new movie, ”Hero,” in which I play a police officer. There`s humor in it and romance. It`s a stretch for me.
The last good movie I saw was: ”Good Morning, Vietnam.”
Favorite pigout food: Vanilla ice cream stirred up with milk, walnuts and a little bit of chocolate until it`s the consistency of a malt.
Favorite performer: Linda Ronstadt.
Favorite childhood memory: Before my two brothers and I would go to sleep, my mom would sing ”Dear Hearts and Gentle People” to us.
Personal hero: John Wayne. I didn`t have a father when I was growing up, and he was a substitute. I identified with him and emulated him.

People who knew me in high school thought I was: Quiet and shy.

My most irrational act: I`m extremely rational, sometimes too rational. I think things out in their entirety before I make a move.
Behind my back my friends say: ”He`s too easygoing.” I am so concerned about hurting people`s feelings that I don`t say ”no” when I should.
If I`ve learned one thing in life, it`s: You`ve got to set a goal.
Major accomplishment: Achieving success as an actor.
The one thing everybody`s tried but me is: Downhill skiing.
