Shareholders of Baxter Travenol Laboratories Inc. officially approved the company name change to Baxter International Inc. at the firm`s annual meeting Tuesday. The change, effective immediately, reflects a consolidation following the 1985 merger of Baxter Travenol and American Hospital Supply Corp.
