In the 7th grade I was taught the difference between a discussion, a disagreement, an argument and a fight. Mind you, the teacher always stressed that a difference of opinion cannot constitute an argument because opinions are based on personal feelings.

It is for this reason that I find it ridiculous for all the newspapers to condemn astrology. If it is Nancy Reagan`s opinion that she believes in astrology, so what? Do people really think that they can change her opinion just by writing it up as if it were a scandal?

It is the opinion of others that astrology is (as written in the Tempo section of the May 15 Chicago Tribune) ” . . . bunk, bogus, (and) poppycock . . . ” No one is trying to change the opinions of those who disbelieve astrology, so why try to change the opinions of those who do?
