Mass for Thomas J. Byrne, 84, an insurance company executive, will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Burr and Tower Roads, Winnetka. Mr. Byrne, of Winnetka, died Tuesday in Charleston, S.C. He was chairman of the board of an insurance company and had founded the firm Byrne and Han. He was a 1929 graduate of Loyola University Law School. Survivors include his wife, Katherine; a daughter, Kathleen Mandry; and two grandchildren.
