Mass for Thomas E. Epach Sr., 67, a retired procurement officer for the Army, will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Leavitt and Flossmoor Roads, Flossmoor. Mr. Epach, of Chicago Heights, died Wednesday in St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights. He was a World War II veteran and later worked as a contracting officer with the Army Corps of Engineers at its Merchandise Mart office until he retired 15 years ago. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Stempien; three sons, Thomas Jr., Timothy and John; and five grandchildren.
