Services for John H. Van Wickler, 59, a retired Chicago insurance executive, will be held Saturday in Chattanooga, Tenn. Mr. Van Wickler, a former Chicago and Olympia Fields resident who died Thursday in his home in Signal Mountain, Tenn., retired from Provident Life and Accident Insurance Co., as a senior vice president, director and chief investment officer. He also was vice president of CNA Financial Corp., and vice president of Union Central Life Insurance Co., of Cincinnati. He is survived by his wife, Therese; a son, Rick; and a daughter, Nancy.
