Japanese Prime Minister Noboru Takeshita`s visit to Chicago after the economic summit meeting in Toronto was very poorly appreciated by a city that stands much to gain economically as a center of international trade. The self-involved provincial attitude Mr. Takeshita encountered here by public and press deserves to be seen unfavorably by the Japanese and other summit nations for some time to come.
