I don`t understand why you put Ronald Kotulak`s ”Greenhouse effect spurs global fears” on page 16 on July 1. I would think an article suggesting a doom ”second in magnitude only to the devastation of nuclear war” might get higher precedence in The Tribune.
I think if the world`s scientists, who helped bring us chlorofluorocarbons and polluting industries in the first place, believe that human destruction caused this drought and may lead to global death, their warning merits closer attention.
