I watched Marshall Field on TV concerning a piece of art from Thailand.

It seems Mr. Field`s memory is slipping. A few weeks ago it took him no time at all to come to a decision on a painting of the late Mayor Washington. When the painting was found to offend a group of people, it was quickly taken down and Mr. Field bent over backwards to apologize.

Now, when it`s discovered that the Art Institute is in possession of a stolen piece of art that is priceless to an entire country, Mr. Field becomes indignant and refuses to give it up.

Either Mr. Field had better become a little more consistent in his decisions or resign.
