Do you think that publicizing grey market ticket sellers and saying

”. . . no one gets hurt” in your headline (July 24) is in keeping with the journalism principles of the founders of the Tribune?

People do get hurt. Our agency did all the work for a foreign-bound traveler who was to fly out on Saturday, July 23. We agreed to prepare his ticket and open the office at 8:30 a.m. so he could pick up the ticket and make his flight.

He didn`t appear. Why? Because he called a ”quick buck operator” who lets ”traditional travel agent” do the work for him.

When you exposed the domestic scam artists, and the phony $29-to-Hawaii scheme, I applauded you. When you devote a column to promoting another group of sharpies, I am disappointed.

By the way, is there something wrong with the ”traditional travel agency”? We`re in business in the local community that does its part to support the Chamber of Commerce, local charities and all those qualities which are supposed to be good for America. I thought the Tribune had the same ideas.
