The letter from S. Talley abhors the fact that Michael Dukakis is proud of being a member of the American Civil Liberties Union.
If we still have in the United States people such as Talley who evidently believe that nobody`s civil liberties should be protected except their own, we have the greatest demonstration of our need for the ACLU.
In fact, the ACLU will even fight to protect Talley`s right to be as wrong-headed as he appears to be.
