I take exception to Shelby Yastrow`s statement that the ”Mc” prefix is
”the uniquely recognizable and undisputed symbol of McDonald`s” and has been that for over 35 years.
For Shelby Yastrow`s information, the prefix ”Mc” has been in use by numerous families for greatly in excess of 35 years. To my knowledge, none of these families has been asked by the fast-food merchants for permission to use the prefix.
Some of these people whose claim antedates that of the hamburger chain are not at all happy that ”Mc” should come to be associated with an enterprise known for its strenuous opposition to any increase in the minimum wage.
