Birthday: March 1, 1955.
Birthplace: I was born in Cleveland, but I grew up in Rapid City, S.D.
Current home: Los Angeles.
Marital status: Engaged to Peter Lopez, a lawyer.
Working on: I have a movie, ”Tunnels,” coming out in October. I play an investigative reporter. I`m making another movie called ”Music City Blues”
about the rise and fall of a country music star.
The last good movie I saw was: ”Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”
The book I`ve been recommending lately is: The Truman Capote biography
(”Capote”) by Gerald Clarke.
Nicknames: Cat, Cha-Cha, and Fifi la Bach.
Favorite performers: Colleen Dewhurst, Shelley Winters, Vivien Leigh, Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino. And Tom Cruise is adorable. And I`d like to touch Sylvester Stallone`s stomach.
Favorite childhood memories: Learning to kiss from my cousin and seeing
”The Red Shoes” with my mother.
Personal heroes: Georgia O`Keeffe, Oriana Fallaci and my grandma.
If I had a child, I`d try to teach him: To have a good attitude. If you have a good attitude and a clear mind, you can learn anything and do anything.
People who knew me in high school thought I was: Really wild. I climbed the back side of Mt. Rushmore under a full moon and wore jeans to school when I wasn`t supposed to. But I got straight A`s.
My most irrational act: Getting married to a guy I had met on the beach and knew for only three months.
My most irrational fear: I get spooked by noises late at night.
Nobody would believe it if they saw me: Playing with the neighborhood kids. I have the neighborhood pool, and all the kids hang out here.
The worst time of my life: From my teens to 21. I was in a real quandary deciding whether to go to college and be a real part of society or be a waitress and try to get into acting.
My friends like me because: I tell them stupid jokes.
Behind my back they say: ”Why doesn`t she sugar-coat the truth a little?”
If I`ve learned one thing in life it`s: Everything turns out the way it`s supposed to.
The one thing everybody has tried but me is: Having a baby.
