Clarence Page should do his homework before lecturing on the ”central question of hypocrisy” surrounding Sen. Dan Quayle.

In his overzealous attempt to pin an unworthy label on Mr. Quayle, he failed to ask one important question: Where was Michael Dukakis in 1951 during the Korean War? You guessed it-filling out student deferment papers and heading off to college.

Obviously, if the flame-throwing columnist had done his homework, his definition of hypocrisy would have been tempered and his loose cannon silenced.
