The intersection of Hill Avenue and Main Street in Glen Ellyn will be closed to all traffic until Saturday, officials announced.
Underground utility work being done as part of the village`s Hill Avenue construction project is the cause of the road closing.
Detour signs will direct motorists going north or south around the intersection to use Park Boulevard or Prospect Avenue.
