The Chicago Academy of Sciences and the Chicago Herpetological Society will sponsor their 6th annual Herpetological Weekend from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the museum, 2001 N. Clark Street.

Last year`s event drew 100 animals and 2,600 people. An 18-foot reticulated python is expected this year, as well as a variety of other snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises and frogs.

Admission is $1 for adults, 50 cents for children and senior citizens.
