James Zerwekhwas named director of programming for WGN TV (Channel 9), effective immediately. He replaces Marc Schacher, who joins Tribune Broadcasting Co. as director of program services. Zerwekh comes to WGN from WMSP-TV in Minneapolis where he was program director for the last four years.
