The 92-year-old Sister Seraphia-actually an elf in disguise-fell and broke her hip about a week ago. She was taken to a hospital near Milwaukee.
(Formerly of Chicago, she has been living at her order`s infirmary for older sisters in southern Wisconsin.)
Some nuns from Chicago went up to visit her. One of them, making conversation, said, ”Well, Sister Seraphia, are you thinking today about going home to God?”
There was an extremely long, long, pause, and then Sister Seraphia said,
”Why? Am I not in good health?”
