On the other hand, you seem to be more than a bit naive. Why did it take you so long to wake up and smell the coffee? Did not a reading of the

”Report of the Congressional Committees on the Iran-Contra Affair”

convince you that this administration has been covertly subverting the peace process in Central America? Is there any reason to believe that a mere public declaration of support for the Arias peace plan would mean a change in objectives? Isn`t the fact that Oliver North is a hero to so many Americans evidence that they don`t really care about what our word is worth these days?
