During the presidential debate of Sept. 25, Gov. Dukakis again reminded us that his parents were immigrants. An immigrant is defined as ”a person who migrates into a country for permanent residence.” Except for the original inhabitants of this country, that must mean most of us are descended from

”immigrants.” Is this supposed to be a reason to give him our vote?
