The past three months I`ve been involved with Registration `88. Only lately I found out Ed Vrdolyak started this program. This program was a blessing to all women with children and mostly the elderly. I have been thanked a number of times. It`s too bad the Democratic Party couldn`t share in its cost.
After leaving Chicago`s South Side 20 years ago and being active in politics I only saw one political representative in all that time at my door. This program will start a fire under suburban apathy.
As a lifelong Republican, I welcome Ed Vrdolyak with his desire to carry on a job to its fullest.
