When asked what he would do first should he suddenly become president, Dan Quayle responded, ”Say a prayer.” I couldn`t agree more. Should Quayle become president, the first thing I would do is say every prayer I knew.

Why? Because he had to be asked the same question three times before he could think of what he would do. His only plan was to hold a meeting with the Cabinet members because he would ”know them first-hand.”

How could anyone feel confident with someone who isn`t farsighted enough even to be ready for the obvious question, much less the actual event.
