Services for Joan Olson Beerly, 79, a singer and former children`s entertainer from Kenilworth, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel at 1100 Greenleaf Ave. in Wilmette. Mrs. Beerly, whose husband, Gustav, is a former associate Cook County probate court judge, died Thursday at Evanston Hospital. In the 1930s, Mrs. Beerly was known as singer ”Jenny Lind” on a children`s radio show in Chicago. She is survived by her husband and a sister.
