Having read of Judge Walter Williams` misguided attempt at dispensing justice by returning Cecilia Flores to her natural mother, who has served two years in prison for breaking 13 bones and scalding the child`s body when Cecilia was 10 weeks old, I am sick at heart.
Who in the world will have the strength, intelligence and basic common sense to stand up and defend the rights of a helpless, innocent child?
Apparently the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and Judge Williams have lost their collective minds.
Cecilia needs care, love and respect and I find it hard to imagine that she will receive much living with a mother who has hurt her child in so many ways. Shame on all of you.
