Russian dissident Andrei Sakharov arrived in the U.S. for a visit. He traveled without his wife, who saw him off with a kiss at the Moscow airport. This is quite normal. After all, somebody should remain as hostage to the people`s government, while Sakharov is in America. That way his return is assured.
