The Chicago media is savoring the thought-another mayoral election. I ask the media to take a few suggestions from the recent presidential campaign. Please cover the issues, not the horserace. Chicago is facing several substantive issues-affordable housing, schools, gangs, just to name a few. The media would do voters a favor by covering these real issues. Let voters know where the candidates stand on the issues. Let us know their vision of Chicago`s future.
