We were most disappointed to read of CTA Executive Director Robert Paaswell`s recent resignation.
We in the greater State Street area have worked closely, and well, with him and his people on our heavily transit-related improvement plans for the district.
The business community appreciated his openness to ideas, his understanding of the dynamics that make up the center of a city, the breadth and depth of his grasp of the transportation field, and his cooperative approach to trying to improve the public`s transit experience with us.
We are sorry that we will not be able to continue working with him, and hope and trust that his replacement, too, will take a ”can-do” approach to problem-solving for Chicago`s transit system.
