I am by no means a prude, but a recent Smothers Brothers show disgusted me. I have always liked their show for the humor and talented people they bring out. I won`t go into specifics of what the show consisted of, but for prime-time TV the profanity and political innuendos were uncalled for.
I consider myself a middle American with patriotism part of my credo. I feel our society as a whole is deteriorating. I see a lack of respect in our young people in my own community. Their personalities are bad to non-existent. I have to wonder if this type of ”humor” on prime-time TV has an effect on our children and young adults.
