A study of 61 women-38 suffering from PMS and 23 control subjects-showed no link between PMS sumptoms and nutrient shortages.

”We observed plasma levels of magnesium, zinc and vitamins A, E, B6 and thiamine in PMS sufferers and found no evidence of deficiency,” says Michael Mira of the University of Sydney, Australia.
