Hunters often delude themselves into thinking they are beneficial to society when their ultimate motive is not to do good, but to kill a living thing.

E. Topp (April 13) claims he ”pays” for his right to kill. Yes, he pays fees that are used to destroy wildlife and land that should be enjoyed by all of us.

Let`s not accept the hunter`s excuses any longer. It is up to the majority (the non-hunting public) to free wildlife managers from their enslavement to the whims of hunters and trappers. Our wilderness is meant to be enjoyed by all.
