Lewis and Nancy Kahn of Skokie announce the engagement of their daughter, Rena Ann, to Ralph Aronowitz, a son of the late Pesach and Layla Aronowitz, who had lived in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The future bride is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University and Spertus College of Judaica. She has worked as a registered representative for several investment firms.
Her father is president of Lewis G. Kahn and Associates, a financial and estate planning firm. Her mother is a social worker with the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago.
The future bridegroom is president of R.A. Developers, an East Coast residential construction company.
After a January 14 wedding in the Swiss Grand Hotel, the couple will live in New York.
