The White Sox threatened to move, and they got a new stadium. If we threaten to move, do you think they`ll let us keep our Jarvis ”L” station?
Or do you suppose they`ll just close the thing and then continue to complain about how everyone`s moving out of the city for some reason?
I think it`s grossly unfair that, as a taxpayer, I have no voice in what`s more important to me in a city. Decent transportation vs. a pathetic excuse for a baseball team-a tough decision, but if it were mine the White Sox would be on an ”L” out of town by now. Presuming that it wasn`t closed down in order to budget a new home for the Bears.
