”Santa Barbara” has hired Richard Hatch to play the newly created role of Steven Marsh. Steven is described as a ”producer who made it big, but whose career has been backsliding for several years.” In the story, Steven will try to persuade Sophia Capwell (Judith McConnell) to resurrect her former career as an actress. On daytime, Hatch is well-remembered from his role as the first Phillip Brent on ”All My Children” from 1970-72.
